This information establishes and governs the conditions of use, the limits of responsibility and the obligations which website users accept and promise to observe.
Tek wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, and therefore discloses below its information practices.
Any information you provide will be treated in accordance with Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the "EU Data Protection Directive"), and any implementing and/or amending legislation as may be adopted in EU Member States from time to time, as well In particular, the processing of personal data as a consequence of executing the services offered by the website is subject to the Spanish legal system, and in particular to the provisions of the Ley Orgánica 15/1999 de 13 de Diciembre sobre Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal, [Spanish Organic Law of Personal Data Protection 15/1999, 13 December], (hereinafter, the LOPD), and its implementing regulations.
In accordance with the provisions of the said law, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

b) File: Any organized set of personal data, irrespective of how it is created, stored, organized or accessed.
c) Data processing: Technical operations and procedures, automated or otherwise, to enable the collection, recording, storage, preparation, modification, blocking, cancellation and assignment of data resulting from communications, enquiries, interconnections and transfers.
d) Person in charge of the file or processing: The public or private natural or legal person, or administrative body, with power of decision over the purpose, content and use of the processing.
e) Person concerned: The natural person who is the subject of the data to be processed in the ways described in item c) of this Article.
f) Consent of the person concerned: Any free, unequivocal, specific and informed statement in which the person concerned consents to the processing of his or her personal data.
g) Assignment or communication of data: Any disclosure of data to anyone other than the person concerned.
Tek also informs website users that the data obtained through it will be included in files held by Tek, whose address is Calle Ochandiano, 18, 28023 Madrid, Spain, for the following purposes:
- If you are the client’s contact person, your data will be used to manage the contractual relationship between the parties, and to send commercial and publicity information via any media (including electronic) concerning globalization solutions and services.
- If you are the freelance worker subcontracted by Tek, your data will be used to manage the contractual relationship, and to send commercial and publicity information via any media (including electronic) concerning globalization solutions and services.
- If you are the person assigned by Tek, your data will be used for contact and to manage the service ordered by the client.
You are hereby informed that there are international data transfers, classed as access, by freelance workers located abroad and contracted by Tek to carry out certain parts of the service ordered by the CLIENT and based on the data supplied by you in the website. The destination country will vary according to the service ordered by the CLIENT and the level of protection established in each country may or may not be comparable with that applicable in Spain. By using the website, you consent to the said international transfer. Tek guarantees that access from abroad to data will always be conducted in strict compliance with the provisions of Articles 33 and 34 of the LOPD.
Also, you may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection to Tek by writing to Tek Translation International, S.A., Calle Ochandiano nº 18, 28023 Madrid, Spain, attaching a photocopy of your National Identity Card or equivalent document, in a letter which provides proof of sending.

Tek privacy statement:
Tek has created this privacy statement ("Statement") in order to demonstrate our commitment to client privacy. Privacy on this website (the "Site") is of great importance to us. Because we gather important information from our visitors, clients and business partners, we have established this Statement as a means to communicate our information gathering and dissemination practices. Tek reserves the right to modify, develop or update the privacy conditions of this platform, at any time and without notice (either on its own initiative or because of a legislative or case law change in the doctrine of the Spanish Data Protection Agency). The user shall be automatically bound by the conditions of use in force at the time he or she accesses the platform, and must therefore read these privacy conditions periodically.
Collected information:
We require clients and business partners who register to use the services offered on our Site (collectively, the "Service") to give us contact information, such as their name, company name, address, phone number, and e-mail address, and financial qualification and billing information. Clients and business partners can update or remove their personal information at any time by logging into the Website and editing their Profile. Clients can view their updated profile to confirm their edits have been made.
Clients and business partners undertake to keep updated and accurate information in their records in order to reflect the user’s current situation at any particular time.
Tek uses the information that we collect to set up the Service for individuals and their organizations. We may also use the information to contact clients to further discuss client interest in our company, the Service that we provide, and to send information regarding our company or partners, such as promotions and events relating to globalization solutions and services. Clients are invited to receive an email newsletter by providing an email address. Client email addresses and any personal client information will not be distributed or shared with third parties. Clients can opt out of being contacted by us, or receiving such information from us, at any time by sending an email to our Marketing Department. Separately, clients are also asked to provide an email address when registering for the Service, in order to receive a username and password. We may also email information regarding updates to the Service or company, and will send a Client Newsletter. Again, email will not be distributed or shared and clients can opt out of receiving any communication by emailing our Marketing Department at the time it is distributed, or at the time any client registers for the Service.
Except as we explicitly state at the time we request information, we do not disclose to third parties the information provided. All financial and billing information that we collect through the Site is used solely to check the qualifications of prospective clients and to bill for the Service. This billing information is not used by Tek for marketing or promotional purposes. Other third parties, such as content providers, may provide content on the Site but they are not permitted to collect any information nor does Tek share user information with these parties.
Clients of the Service will be using the Site to host data and information ("Data"). Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and password.
Tek may also collect certain information from visitors to and clients of the Site, such as Internet addresses. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems, and to administer our Site in order to constantly improve the quality of the Service. We may also provide such information to third parties only in relation to the previously mentioned aspects.
Cookies:
When you interact with the Tek Website we strive to make that experience easy and meaningful. When you come to our Site, our Web server sends a cookie to your computer. Security:
Our Site has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Data under our control. Tek implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and hosts the Site in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Finally, Tek provides unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a client logs on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of Data.
Opt-Out Policy:
Tek offers its visitors and clients a means to choose how we may use information provided. If, at any time after registering for information or ordering the Service, you change your mind about receiving information from us, send us a request specifying your new choice. Simply send your request to our Marketing Department.
Correcting & Updating Your Information:
If clients need to update or change registration information they may do so by editing the user or organization record. To update a User Profile, log on to Tek and select Setup to add or update information. To update Organization's data, log on to Tek and select Company Settings (accessible by Group Administrators only).

2. Security
Security Statement
Tek utilizes some of the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. Your data will be completely inaccessible to your competitors. Tek provides each User in your organization with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a User logs on. Tek issues a "cookie" which records permanently only your encrypted preferences such as preferred language, and which records encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. Such cookie does not include either the username or password of the user. Tek does not use "cookies" to store other confidential user and session information, but instead implements more advanced security methods based on dynamic data and encoded session IDs.
In addition, Tek is hosted in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders.
