Madrid, SPAIN – March 18, 2009 – At the upcoming AIIM International Exposition and Conference in Philadelphia, taking place on 31 March to 2 April, Damian Archer, Director of Enterprise Architecture at Tek Translation International, will host a conference session entitled “Creating a Common Workspace for Effective Project Management and Collaboration across Borders and Languages”.As announced by AIIM, the event is “the place to come for ideas, inspiration and advice if you are in the process of assessing and selecting new business applications or platforms, building a business case for their adoption or you’re already in the process of implementing new solutions.” Appropriately tailored to this theme, Damian’s session will explain:
- How and why Tek created a common virtual workspace to support follow-the-sun operations and manage globalization projects.
- How to empower stakeholders to modify workflows according to their business models, while preserving project consistency
- How Tek incorporated content indexing, security and classification to create an Enterprise 2.0 collaboration model.
- How to exploit the value of communications intelligence and sophisticated information channeling, prioritizing and flagging.
Damian will appear as part of a comprehensive program of speakers from market leaders such as Microsoft, Google and Ernst & Young. The program will present real-life examples and practical solutions to a range of business information management needs in addition to boasting a roster of 200 exhibitors on the expo floor throughout the 3-day event.

Damian Archer, director of Enterprise Architecture, leads the strategy & development of Tek’s OneWorld Platform and online technologies. He joined Tek in 2006, bringing over a decade of experience managing large-scale international projects across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
